Rides
Garda at First Light
The eastern shore before the traffic wakes, when the lake is a sheet and the road belongs to whoever got up.
Workshops
Two days at a bench, learning to make one joint properly — and understanding exactly how far you are from being able to make a frame.
You will not build a bicycle. You will spend two days trying to get brass to flow evenly into one joint on scrap tubing, you will fail repeatedly, and somewhere in the second afternoon it will work.
Everyone who has done this comes away with the same two things: a lump of steel they are unreasonably proud of, and a permanently altered sense of what the people who do this for a living are actually doing.
A sequence, not a schedule. Times are set once dates are fixed.

Rides
Up out of the vineyards onto the plateau, where the walls are dry-stone, the sky is enormous, and almost nobody goes.
Atelier access
A morning in a working Verona workshop, watching a frame be made and asking the questions you have always wanted to ask.
